Season 12 of Nat Geo Kids' "Greeking Out" podcast launches on YouTube, featuring original adaptations of Greek myths. This episode, "The Greatest Stories in The G.O.A.T. of Greek Mythology, Part One," tells the story of Heracles (Hercules), a demigod son of Zeus. Hera, Zeus's wife, seeks revenge by ensuring Heracles serves the weak King Eurystheus. The story covers Heracles' birth, his twin brother Iphicles, early demonstrations of Heracles' strength, and his education. Heracles becomes a hero by defeating King Erkinos's army and marries Megara, but Hera drives him to madness. To atone, Heracles consults the Oracle and begins his twelve labors, including defeating the Nemean Lion and the Hydra, as well as cleaning the Augean stables with the help of his nephew Iolaus.
