Shownotes
At TimesTalks Downtown presented by Cadillac, don’t miss this exciting opportunity to hear from the provocative actress Chloë Grace Moretz, starring in the new film “The Miseducation of Cameron Post,” winner of the Grand Jury Award at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Moretz plays the title character, a teenager in 1993 who is caught in the backseat of a car with the prom queen and sent to a gay conversion therapy camp called God’s Promise. In this unusual setting she bonds with fellow residents who pretend to go along with the “de-gaying” process while waiting to be released.
Moretz will be seen in the upcoming films “Suspiria” and “The Widow,” and is best known for her work in “If I Stay,” “Dark Shadows,” “Hugo” and “Kick-Ass” among other films.
