SearchGPT is finally here.

Max and Jo record a special quick episode to discuss OpenAI’s new SearchGPT feature which enables ChatGPT to retrieve relevant, real-time information from across the web. For eCommerce sellers, this innovation presents both an opportunity and a challenge: how to ensure that their content ranks well and is viewed as authoritative by this new generation of AI-driven search tools.

They discuss Key Strategies for SearchGPT Optimization:

1. Content Depth & Relevance: Go beyond keywords to fully address user questions. Create rich content that provides real value and context.

2. Authority Signals: Build Brand credibility with trusted mentions, reviews, and PR.

3. E-E-A-T Standards: Prioritize experience, expertise, authority, and trustworthiness to meet AI-driven ranking criteria.

4. Quick Digestibility: Structure content with summaries, clear headers, and bullet points for easy parsing by LLMs.

5. Technical SEO & Updates: Ensure fast loading, clean structure, and regular content updates to signal relevance.
