New @greenpillnet pod out today!

In this episode of the Green Pill Podcast, Griff Green returns to discuss Round 2 of the DAO Security Fund a new approach to funding and coordinating security initiatives across the Ethereum ecosystem.

Griff explains what the first round revealed about the Ethereum security landscape, why Round 2 is designed to go deeper rather than wider, and how the DAO Security Fund aims to become a Schelling point for security funding coordination.

The conversation covers quadratic funding, security initiatives, RFPs, grants, milestone-based funding, market adoption, formal verification, operational security, bug bounties, and the role AI could play in making Ethereum more secure.

Griff also shares his vision for the DAO Security Fund: making Ethereum safer than banks by building shared infrastructure and moving the ecosystem from a reactive security posture to a proactive one.

In this episode:
- The results of DAO Security Fund Round 1
- What changes in Round 2
- How the new funding mechanism works
- Grants vs. RFPs
- Why market participation matters
- Funding Ethereum's shared security infrastructure
- Formal verification and compiler security
- The economics of collective security
- Why Ethereum needs to stop funding hackers
- Moving from reactive to proactive security
- AI and the future of Ethereum security
- The role of DAOs and collective action
- How you can propose a security initiative

If you're an Ethereum security researcher, builder, company, or community member, Griff's message is simple: bring forward the security problems you want to see solved, and help the ecosystem fund them together.
